The Committee on Freedom of Speech and Information recommends that the Parliament should adopt the bill on reforming state and communal print mass media in the second hearing and in entirety

The bill (Reg. No. 2600) suggests legislatively define the ways of reforming printed media and editorial offices. During the preparation of the bill for consideration in the second hearing, the Committee upheld several amendments suggested by the people’s deputies. If the bill is adopted, it will come into force on January 1, 2014.
